Despise not small beginnings because in due season all of your efforts will yield an increase.”

–  Dr. Valerie Small

In each of our allotted time on earth, we carry a specific assignment.  Knowing your assignment is crucial to its completion. How tragic it would be to misalign ourselves from the appropriate path, and forfeit our mission because of self sabotage, or any other kind of “self”-ishness.

On our road to success, we may at times experience hurdles and stumbling blocks that are discouraging, almost as though we are spinning wheels and nothing is changing.  Irrespective of insecurities and doubt, we must trust the higher vibrations of our internal compass  as we tread the path to fulfilling our purpose.

Let us not despise what we are assigned to do.  As beings, we are interconnected; hence every assignment has it’s own interdependence with another’s life, or mission. It is imperative that we remain watchful of the music we hear, the lyrics we sing, and the dances we choreograph for the remainder of the year.  I’ve been blogging about developing a new “Rhythm and Routine.”  This requires analyzing our belief system about ourselves and our life assignments.   All of us who have said, “no” to our assignments should reconsider racing the full course; this assignment, no matter how consequential or trivial, is linked to our personal and professional success.

Sing a New Song today.

Remember, for the remaining months of the year we have committed to “Moving Differently” because “Successful People Move Differently.”
