We are all in different seasons of life. It is important to know that in each season there are new opportunities that we are able to seize and use to move forward.
What have you discovered over the past week about the Tools that are in your box? Have you taken the time to reexamine and decide how you will repurpose each gift and talent? Earlier, I mentioned that we may be in a place of complacency, boredom, and stagnation in our careers; is it possible that we occupy these psychological spaces because we feel stagnant in the present state of our careers? Perhaps these attitudes and feelings have surfaced so we can deal with the issues of not fully utilizing our gifts and talents.
Assume the position of power and control over your destiny. Navigating through these challenges can sometime blur our vision. These obstacles, however, are wonderful catalysts for creative strategizing and exploring the Tools that have been placed in our possession.
Let’s remember: “Successful People Move Differently.” The conventional way of performing our tasks might be outdated and may require an unconventional way for us to reach our new goals in our careers. If you are not being challenged and are not creating and reinventing new career possibilities after 3-5 years, it is time for you to Move Differently.
This moment in time, do what you can with what you have in your hand.
